Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word (docx) document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Language
All submissions must be written in English.

Manuscript Title
The title should be concise and informative, not exceeding 12 words.

Abstract
The abstract should provide a concise summary of the manuscript, no more than 300 words, outlining the main findings and contributions of the research.

Keywords
Please include up to 4 keywords that accurately reflect the manuscript's content.

Structure of the Manuscript
Manuscripts should be organized into the following sections:

  • Introduction: Establish the study's context and objectives.
  • Literature Review (if applicable): Discuss relevant existing research.
  • Methods (if applicable): Describe the methods used in your research.
  • Results (if applicable): Present and illustrate your findings.
  • Discussion (if applicable): Interpret your results in the context of the overall study.
  • Conclusions: Summarize the findings and their implications.
  • Acknowledgments (if applicable): Recognize those who helped with the study.
  • Funders (if applicable): List the sources of financial support, including fund names and contract numbers.
  • Conflict of Interest Statements: Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • References: List all sources cited in your work.

References and Citations

  • Use the IEEE citation style.
  • Manage references using Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote.
  • Include 15-30 references, though more may be included for review articles.
  • Ensure references from primary sources.
  • Website references must be permanent; use services like perma.cc, archive.today, or archive.org to ensure permanency.
  • Website references should not constitute more than 10% of total references.

Figures and Tables

  • Include clear, vivid, and necessary figures and tables.
  • Ensure all figures and tables are free from copyright issues; obtain permissions if needed.
  • Reference all figures and tables within the text.
  • Provide captions that explain each figure and table.

Similarity Check

  • Ensure the manuscript has a maximum similarity index of 20%.

Highlights
Authors should provide 3-5 bullet points that highlight the key findings or novel contributions of their research.

Article Length
There is no restriction on the length of articles or the number of tables and figures included.
