ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AS A DIGITAL ASSISTANT FOR TEACHERS: STRATEGIES AND CHALLENGES IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEACHING
Keywords:
Artificial Intelligence, English Language Teaching, Educational TechnologyAbstract
The paper examines how AI can be deployed by the teachers in the classroom setting and the challenges they encounter. The present paper a quantitative design, which suggests the utilization of questionnaires to be distributed to the EFL instructors. The study employs the Technology Acceptance Model that implies the manner in which technology is embraced following the perceived usefulness and ease of use. Despite all the benefits AI provides, challenges such as the lack of training, insufficient facilities, and ethical concerns are likely to be encountered by educators. The results emphasize that the key to the most promising impacts of AI in education is the successful and cautious implementation of AI. The study provides insights and suggestions that can be applied by teachers, schools, and policymakers to utilize AI in ELT in a responsible way by identifying the strategies and issues that may be deemed as effective in it.
