This research aims to identify the impact of the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and electronic auditing techniques as independent variables on the effectiveness of the use of financial hedging tools as a dependent variable in the Iraqi economic environment. The theoretical framework of the study was developed through a deductive approach while the field survey approach was based on a questionnaire and was inductive in nature to achieve the objectives of the study. The number of questionnaires distributed to the target groups was 120 questionnaires. The number of returned questionnaires was 105 questionnaires, which formed the final valid sample for statistical analysis in three companies listed on the Iraq Stock Exchange. Statistical analysis was based on SPSS statistical software outputs to obtain arithmetic means, standard deviations, test multiple linear regression model and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results showed a positive correlation and a statistically significant and strong impact of the technological and supervisory integration on improving the efficiency of financial hedging tools, with the explanatory power of the estimated regression model reaching 76.5%. The study developed a set of recommendations, most importantly, the need to develop flexible governance guidelines on financial technologies, allocate independent budgets to develop electronic infrastructure and update academic curricula at universities to meet the requirements of the electronic economy.
